Binance serves users globally and supports dozens of languages including both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. You might need to switch to Chinese if you are a native Chinese speaker who registered with the default English interface, if you share your account with family members who prefer Chinese, or if you simply find the Chinese interface easier to navigate for your trading activities.

Switching Language on the Binance App
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step one, open the Binance app and tap on your profile icon, usually located in the top-left corner of the home screen.
Step two, scroll down to find the Settings option and tap on it.
Step three, look for the Language or Language/Region option in the settings menu.
Step four, tap on Language to see the list of available languages.
Step five, scroll through the list and select your preferred Chinese variant. You will see two Chinese options: Simplified Chinese (used in mainland China, Singapore, and Malaysia) and Traditional Chinese (used in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau).
Step six, confirm your selection. The app will restart or reload with the new language applied.
After Switching
Once the language is changed, all menu items, buttons, labels, notifications, and help text within the app will display in your chosen Chinese variant. Some content such as community posts or certain announcement articles may still appear in English or other languages depending on the content source.
Switching Language on the Binance Website
Desktop Browser Instructions
Step one, open the Binance website in your browser and log into your account.
Step two, look at the top navigation bar. You will find a globe icon or a language selector, typically near the top-right corner.

Language Persistence
Once you change the language setting on the website, it is saved to your browser cookies and your account preferences. Some Text Still Appears in English
Certain elements like cryptocurrency ticker symbols (BTC, ETH, USDT) always display in English because they are standardized international abbreviations, not translatable terms. Some promotional banners and third-party content may also remain in English. This is normal and expected.
App Crashes After Language Change
In rare cases, changing the language on an older version of the app can cause instability. Update the Binance app to the latest version, which can be downloaded from the official source. If the problem persists after updating, uninstall and reinstall the app, then set the language preference during the fresh setup.
Language Keeps Reverting
If your language preference keeps resetting to English, check whether you have multiple Binance sessions active on different devices. Language settings may be synchronized across devices, and another session might be overwriting your preference. Also check that your browser is not configured to override language settings.
